What is MODMAN?

MODMAN is a virtual membership platform that provides resources for learning and personal growth; facilitates face to face mentorship groups which inspire, motivate, and strengthen men; and organizes and executes events that provide men and boys immersive experiences which are rooted in development, challenge and connection.

A Return to Rites

of Passage

MODMAN is more than a program—it’s a global movement restoring the path to manhood through real connection, real mentorship, and real growth.

The Problem

In generations past, boys were guided into adulthood by community, ceremony, and elders who modeled what it meant to be a man. Today, those structures have faded. Many young men are left to figure it out on their own—without support, direction, or a sense of belonging.

This gap has led to:

  • Emotional confusion and isolation

  • Physical disengagement and lack of discipline

  • Financial illiteracy and instability

  • Spiritual disconnection and identity loss

At MODMAN, we believe the journey into manhood shouldn’t be navigated alone.

Our Mission

To unite generations through structured rites of passage—empowering young men to reclaim responsibility, compassion,
&
community leadership; ensuring each generation mentors the next in creating a legacy of balanced, capable, and empathetic men.

Our Vision

To create a global network of men and boys who are spiritually attune, emotionally secure, physically disciplined, and financially responsible.

Our Approach:

The Four-Step

Cycle of Manhood

MODMAN’s core curriculum is built around a timeless progression rooted in global traditions and adapted for modern life:

This framework shapes all our programs—from small group meetups to full-scale retreats.

Invitation Recognize the call to grow and be seen

Initiation
Face challenge, discomfort, and transformation

Independence Live your values and apply what you’ve learned

Interdependence Become a guide for the next generation

Core Values

1. Brotherhood Over Isolation

2. Progress Over Perfection

3. Choosing Service Over Ego

4. Allowing Access for All

5. Tradition + Innovation

Together, they embody two sides of manhood: experience and insight, wisdom and innovation. Generationally distinct yet deeply aligned, Matthew, Michael and Alessandro are committed to guiding boys and men into confident, capable adulthood—together.

  • MODMAN is a virtual membership platform that provides resources for learning and personal growth; facilitates face to face mentorship groups which inspire, motivate, and strengthen men; and organizes and executes events that provide men and boys immersive experiences which are rooted in development, challenge and connection.

Our programs are designed for youth ages 8–18, but we also welcome adult men who want to become mentors, as well as parents and community leaders seeking meaningful ways to support the next generation.

  • No. MODMAN is intentionally non-denominational and inclusive. While we explore themes of spiritual awareness, our programs are open to individuals of all backgrounds, beliefs, and traditions. We focus on universal values such as integrity, resilience, and emotional growth.

  • MODMAN offers a four-part cycle of learning and experience: Invitation, Initiation, Expulsion, and Mentorship. Programs may include monthly educational themes, in-person men's groups, guided rites of passage, and immersive retreats. All are designed to support emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual development in a holistic and practical way.

  • We’re always looking for committed men who want to step into mentorship with integrity and heart. You can apply to join a local men's group, attend a MODMAN training retreat, or become a certified facilitator. We provide the tools—you bring the willingness to show up for the next generation.

  • MODMAN is committed to accessibility. We believe no boy or man should be excluded due to financial limitations. That’s why we offer sliding scale memberships, sponsorships, and scholarship opportunities for those in need. If you’re interested but unsure about cost, reach out—we’re here to help.

  • MODMAN isn’t just about helping boys "behave better" or "do more"—it’s about building men of depth, character, and vision. We blend timeless wisdom with modern insight, and emphasize face-to-face connection over screens. Our model is both structured and human, with a deep focus on legacy, mentorship, and real-world application.

The MODMAN

Difference

Unlike other youth programs or online content, MODMAN doesn’ stop at information—we cultivate transformation. Through immersive experiences, interpersonal connection, and structured support, we guide boys from uncertainty to confidence, and men from stagnation to service.
